Innisfree || Beauty Haul

This is super long overdue because it's been over a month since I got these pretty awesome purchases from Innisfree. Like finally after they opened their first flagship store in Sunway Pyramid and I only got to shop there because I was there to watch a friend's hockey game.

And I also discovered that I'm a damn amusing commentator. :3

Anyways, I've heard pretty good review about this Korean brand from my favourite Youtube guru Bubz and she absolutely loves their products. And if she says the products are good then I trust that they must be cause she's not sponsored by them. HAHA.

Here's my haul which isn't that much if you think about it.

Though I am happy to say that for the amount of things that I bought, it certainly didn't cost me a bomb like it usually would if I was shopping in Sephora. Even if I love everything in that black & white store, most of the things are just far too expensive to splurge on often.

These are their 'It's real squeeze' mask which had many many different flavours for you to choose from. Plus these are also very cheap, at only Rm4 each, it is also good for your skin so I don't see why I wouldn't get more than one just to pamper myself.

I picked two essence that I can safely say is my favourite - Pomegranate and Lime. No regrets at all because the sheet masks were super nourishing and damn syok especially after a long day. And and, they are super moisturised so you can just leave it on your face for 30mins without it drying out super fast.

Tip: Put these in the fridge until you want to use it. TRUST ME. It'll be awesome. (;

Apparently the Second Skin mask are even better than the other one. Which I assume and will believe that they are twice as good considering that their price is a little higher too. They have a wide range of these to choose from too but I again only got two which is about... Rm14 each. Still not too bad.

These popular masks are waaaaay different from the regular ones because of the essence that it's soaked with and also the material of the mask is differently. I cannot properly explain how it is without being bloody explicit, but let's just say that they did not name this product wrongly at all. When you put it on your face, it really does feel like a layer of skin on

In comparison to the normal ones, these are definitely better for my skin because of the ingredients in the essence. So far I've only tried the moisture formula and quite love it.

Innisfree Gel Liner in Rose Gold. Omg this is absolute love, it totally surpassed my initial expectation of it.

Honestly I bought this on impulse cause I tried it at the store and fell in love with the colour. Anything rose gold is super pretty even though it might not exactly suit everyone's skin tone. Luckily for me however, this was fine for me and the colour is very vibrant.

The texture of it is also very very smooth so it just applies super smoothly even on my skin which is quite dry. And quite long lasting! This is the perfect highlighter which I use to line the inner corners of my eyes. Just that little bit of shimmer and colour wakes up the eyes which makes a big difference to any make up look.

I rate this 9/10. It's just perfect.

Then last but certainly not least, the Innisfree Brow Pencil.

Actually my main goal to visit the store is to get this and only this except I ended up buying a whole lot more than initially planned. Though I have no regrets whatsoever and am quite happy which my purchases, which explains this blog post. (and yes, its cause I'm running out of ideas so anything also can. Sue me.)

This was as good as I expected it to be. Not only does it shape up my brows nicely in the correct shade, but it also creates a natural look depending on how much pressure you put on your strokes (HAHAHA. I'll never get over this phrase) and in the end you have a really nice frame to your face.

Eyebrows are very important to any make up look, which means you need a good brow liner is a definitey must have in the stash. I highly recommend Innisfree's Brow Pencil.

That is all for my beauty haul from Innisfree. I'm off to go do something productive now since it's the last few hours of my first public holiday in the last three months. And by something productive, I mean binge watch a TV series until super late at night like I did with Descendents of the Sun. #Noregrets tho. I finished it in 4 days.

See you all next time!

End of November

My last weekend of November in a nutshell....

1. Went to a GlamGlow's Christmas special event with Leena. It's the first of their event which I have attended by Sephora ever since I've gotten the special black card membership.

Look, I'm sexy 'candid'. Or at least that was the point of this photo.

 Yes, I'm sexy, thanks. #noshame

Finally got to see what the hype about GlamGlow is all about. I've heard and read plenty of raved reviews about this range of masks - would have bought one for myself to try too if the price tag on it was not so crazily high.

=======================================

2. Finally tried the pretty looking sandwich combo from Le Pont with the best mates. Love love love the interior decorations.

The sandwiches looked as pretty as the many pictures I've seen of it. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectation taste wise which left me quite disappointed at the end of the day.

I ate all that carbs but totally not worth it.

But I do love the truffle fries that came with the sandwich. That was the first thing I went for when the food arrived and haven't stopped craving for them since then.

With Leena and Meng taking the picture.
Honestly missed spending time just chilling and catching up with them.

Two of them have been so busy with university work till they hadn't much free time to just hang out. Which was weird for me because I was so used to meeting the both of them almost weekly during their summer holidays. That's over now and it's just tons of assignments & tests for them.

Which makes me secretly glad to not have any. *evil snicker*

Here's another thing that made my week.... It's an article I wrote for the Sun Daily and probably one of the first times my writing has ever seen the light of day. So to see it published makes me feel super proud of myself.

I'm hoping that there'd be more opportunities like these in the future.

So far November has been amazing for me and now that it's come to an end, I can't help but feel really grateful for all that has happened. This whole year has its ups & down but this month was, for the lack of a better word, awesome.

At the risk of sounding stupidly cliche, I wish December and the last month of 2015 to be equally as good too.
